Just 60 km from the hotel are the sprawling Enshi Grand Canyon and Tenglong (Soaring Dragon) Cave, China’s largest karst cave and home to a stunning natural stone forest. Perfect for the summer months is a rafting trip down the Qingjiang river, which has 48 thrilling rapids and around which live members of the Tujia ethnic minority group.
