The WestCord Hotel Noordsee is located in Nes, the second-largest village on the Dutch island of Ameland. The historic village centre and the large pedestrian zone invite you to a pleasant stroll. The natural studies museum is in the hotel´s direct neighbourhood and is one of four museums on the island. The white sandy beach is a sort walk away.
The hotel has every comfort to offer that you can desire. Whether a sauna. A Turkish bath or the heated indoor pool - you will feel completely at ease. Children can either play at the children´s playground or take part in various activities during the school holidays.

Of course with the necessary safety measures for you, as our guest, but also for our employees. We try to guarantee the hospitality that you are used to from us as much as possible.
A number of procedures, as you are usually used to from us, have changed:
• We use an intensive cleaning protocol for the rooms and public areas.
• Are you staying longer than one night? We use an adapted cleaning protocol.
• You can of course contact the hotel reception by telephone for extra towels, toilet paper and other requirements.
Take Away
Restaurants and bars will be closed from December 15, 2020 to January 19, 2021. This applies to both hotel guests and guests who are not staying at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner are therefore provided as take-away.
Breakfast
Upon arrival at the hotel, we are happy to write down your breakfast wishes using a form. The next morning (s) it is possible to collect your breakfast as a take-away between 08:00 and 10:00 h. If desired, this can also be delivered.
Dinner
You can still enjoy all the goodies from Mr Sandman´s kitchen! For dinner we have a smaller menu. You can put together your own 3-course menu or choose the weekly special. Every day it is possible to pass on your choice to Mr. Sandman. Collection is possible between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. You can indicate yourself when you want to enjoy! You can also pick up drinks throughout the day until 21:00. For questions you are welcome at our reception or at restaurant Mr Sandman.
In addition to the measures in our hotel, the necessary measures have also been taken on Ameland.
It is mandatory to wear a face mask on the boat and in public areas. For the latest information about the timetable, please refer to the website https://www.wpd.nl.
Due to the modified cleaning procedures in accordance with the COVID-19 measures, check-in is possible from 3:00 pm and we request that you vacate your room before 11:00 am.
We assume that you, like us, follow the guidelines of the Dutch government and RIVM.
If you have a cold or flu symptoms after you have been in contact with a proven or possible corona infection or have returned from a risk area, we appreciate that you contact us and we will jointly cancel your reservation or move it to another date of arrival.
If new measures are drawn up, we will further tighten our measures.
