The hotel is idyllically located above the lake Walensee and surrounded by a stunning countryside that is made for hiking and biking. Take your time and take in the view on the Alps. In less than 5 kilometres, the placid town of Amden is reachable. Zürich is situated 70 kilometres away.
Forget the daily routine at the traditional and family-run Hotel Arvenbüel. Really cosy rooms are decorated in country style and feature a balcony with splendid view. After a restful night, you enjoy the tasty breakfast at the fullest. Moreover, the hotel also provides a restaurant. If you are searching for suitable accommodations for your seminars and meetings, the hotel is likewise recommended.
We offer a fine cuisine with only fresh and saesonal ingredients. Everything is home made which is very important to us.
Just outside the hotel you can start beautiful hiking pathes with more than 100 km marked and well-kept pathes. In winter you reach the ski slopes directly from the ski storage room in the hotel. Because of the altidude (1256 meters above sea level) Arvenbüel is mostly above the fog in autumne and winter times.
Please note: Monday is our day off. The reception is open for check-in from 4 pm to 7 pm. If you arrive later please contact us. We also find a solution therefor.

Arriving by car
Motorway A3 Zurich - Chur. Leave the motorway at the exit Weesen Amden. From there it takes you 10km to Arvenbüel. There are enough parking paces in front of the hotel and for our hotel guests there is a garage.
Arriving by public transportation
Even with public transport it is easy to reach us. All Intercity trains stop at Ziegelbrücke. Buses take you up to Arvenbüel right in front of the hotel.
