Located directly next to the River Rhine our Youth Hostel offers a great view of the Old Town and the MedienHafen. All sights are within walking distance. The trade fair center Messe Düsseldorf and the Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) can also be easily reached by public transport.
Enjoy our City Hostel, for young and old. The hostel is one of the most modern youth hostels in Europe and offers quality and comfort at a reasonable price. You can choose between dormitory, family, single or double rooms. All rooms are equipped with private shower and separate toilet. Some of the double and single rooms have TV and Internet connection.
Please note that membership in the Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk (DJH) is a requirement for your stay in our hostel.
Persons with an address in Germany can purchase the membership card for a (half) yearly fee of € 3.50 / € 7.00 (for guests under 27 years) or € 11.25 / € 22.50 (for guests over 27 years and families) directly from us on site. Alternatively, you can apply for membership in advance online.
Half-yearly prices apply from June.
International guests can purchase Welcome Stamps at a price of € 3.50 per person per night.
Please note that our youth hostel is open from Monday to Sundayfrom 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.. We kindly ask you to arrive within the opening hours, so that we can give you the room key.

Arriving by car
- via A52 direction Düsseldorf, exit Düsseldorf-Oberkassel, turn right at the second traffic light into Düsseldorfer Straße. - via A46 exit Düsseldorf- Bilk, at the end of the motorway turn left into Südring, after 2 km turn right, in the tunnel turn right in the direction of Oberkassel and right onto Rheinkniebrücke. Turn right before the bridge and then stay on the left.
Arriving by public transportation
From main station take the underground U70, U74, U75, U76 or U77 direction Altsatdt/ Heinrich Heine Allee and exit at Luegplatz (fifth stop).From here it is just a 7 minutes’ walk along Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring until you reach the youth hostel.
