With the district town of St. Wendel and its beautiful city center, the oldest Benedictine monastery in Germany in Tholey, the Schaumberg tower in Theley and the interesting Bostalsee, we only want to recommend a few nearby excursion destinations. You can reach Trier, the state capital of Saarbrücken, the world-famous ceramic manufacturer Villeroy and Boch or the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in less than an hour´s drive. We are the ideal starting point for a journey to beautiful Alsace - if you want to leave us at all. Activities like hiking and cycling can be enjoyed in the area surrounding the property. Saarbrücken is 44 km from Hotel Hofgut Imsbach, while Sankt Wendel is 16 km away. The nearest airport is 50 km from the Hotel distant Saarbruecken Airport.

The sanatorium Tholey-Theley is idyllically located in the middle of the natural reserve Saar-Hunsrück. The Imsbach estate is an oasis of calm and at the same time an excellent location for nature-oriented leisure activities.
Well sign-posted routes through the surrounding forests attract numerous wanderers throughout the year. And cyclists are also taken care of: Designated bicycle tracks, e.g., lead to the Bostal lake, directly from the estate.
