Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen situated among the vineyards, on the banks of the Rhine and close to the town of Eltville is an ideal starting point to explore experience and enjoy the region.

Some 13 forts and castles cap the surrounding hills of the Rhine valley, wonderful villas, cosy pubs and many small vineyards offering wine tasting are to be found along the way. The world famous beauty spot, Loreley, should not be missed as well as the city Rüdesheim with its Drosselgasse and Asbach-Uralt (brandy distillery) visitor centre. The city centres of Mainz and Wiesbaden offer many opportunities for shopping and sightseeing, the Kloster Eberbach, featured in the film ´´The Name of the Rose´´ and its annual wine festival is well worth a visit. ´´Taunuswunderland´´ is ideal for family fun; take a trip to the Roman Kaiser-Friedrich spa and springs in Wiesbaden, a boat trip on the Rhine remains unforgettable plus a lot more.
How to reach us by car
By car follow A66 from Frankfurt direction Wiesbaden or take A60 from Mainz to Wiesbaden to Schiersteiner Kreuz. Follow the A60 direction Rüdesheim. The Autobahn becomes the B42. Stay on this street until it merges to one lane at the Rhine. Pass Schloss Reinhartshausen and take the first exit Hattenheim/Erbach and follow the brown hotel signs to the hotel. There is ample parking space awaiting you.
How to reach us by train
The closest train station is Erbach, a 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The station Eltville, a 10 minutes taxi ride, has a more regular schedule. For ICE or IC passengers, who wish to avoid regional trains, transport can be arranged from the train stations in Wiesbaden or Frankfurt airport. Driving time is 20 minutes from Wiesbaden and 35 minutes from the airport approximately.
