The new AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa is being built at one of the most charming locations in Germany, at the foot of the two royal castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein.

The AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa in Hohenschwangau, a district of the municipality of Schwangau near Füssen in the Allgäu, is one of the first hotels within a new generation of AMERON hotels. The traditional house Alpenrose creates an unforgettable ambience for weddings, family celebrations or gala dinners. In each of the three event rooms “Rheingold“, “Walküre“ and “Siegfried“ you can enjoy an undisturbed view of the Alpsee - as well as from the spacious terrace, which also offers space for dancing and live music.
The new lobby and conference building provides the right setting for a variety of events in a business context. With five stylishly equipped, light-flooded rooms and halls as well as most modern conference technology it represents an ideal location for fastidious Business Events, exactly the same as for teambuildings or Incentives.

With the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa, a traditional ensemble of buildings is revived. Three Hohenschwangau houses - Alpenrose, Jägerhaus and Lisl -, whose history goes back to the time of the royal court, enter into an exciting symbiosis with the two new buildings Galeria and Seehaus: Tradition meets modernity, history meets zeitgeist.
The architectural charm of the existing buildings is preserved while their interiors are carefully redesigned. The new look of the
AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa follows the principle of balanced contrasts. Natural materials and warm colours quote the original furnishings of the historic rooms and are embedded in a contemporary interior concept. Classic elegance is combined with contemporary accents to create a new whole: Comfortable, familiar and modern at the same time. Only the picturesque Jägerhaus is left almost completely in its original condition.
In total, the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee & Resort offers 137 rooms and suites. Unique in their location and their advantages, they form an exclusive ensemble that meets every demand.
The gastronomic heart of the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa are the historic buildings Alpenrose and Lisl as well as the Bräustüberl with Alpseestube. As a culinary trilogy, they cater to different needs and target groups - whether hotel guests or visitors, whether breakfast or lunch, coffee and cake or dinner and drinks. Each of the three hotels offers a carefully coordinated gastronomic concept. They are complemented by the newly furnished Ludwig Bar, which serves as the central meeting point of the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa.

Impressive mountains, legendary castles and idyllic lakes: the community of Schwangau near Füssen in the Allgäu is one of the most visited holiday destinations in Germany for good reason. The natural beauty of this place already fascinated Ludwig II, who saw Schwangau as a paradisiacal refuge. With the construction of Neuschwanstein Castle, he made a dream come true here - and set a monument in today´s Hohenschwangau district that still fascinates today. Together with the Hohenschwangau Castle opposite, the former summer residence of Maximilian II, Neuschwanstein is one of the most important German sights.
In addition to these cultural highlights, the Schwangau region offers everything that nature has to offer in terms of beauty: a dreamlike lake landscape, mountains and forests. Whether on foot, by bike, with snowshoes or cross-country skis, whether sporty demanding tours or a cosy stop in one of the many alpine huts - there is enough choice here for the compilation of individual supporting programmes.
