With the Freischütz Schwerte, a traditional venue welcomes you in front of an idyllic natural scenery directly at the Schwerte forest. For your business event, whether conference, company celebration or incentive with team activity, there are numerous possibilities on site.
The Freischütz was built at the end of the 19th century, as the name suggests, as a forester´s lodge. The historic building has an impressive architecture that inspires its visitors from afar.
The conference venue is located between Schwerte and Dortmund, only 800 m from the A1 motorway. As the railway station and airport are within a radius of 15 km and 400 free parking spaces are available on the premises, your conference guests will arrive in comfort.
The space on offer comprises a total of six event areas of different sizes. From the small fireplace room to the beautiful atrium and the impressive ballroom with 500 m² of space, the Freischütz Schwerte has the perfect setting for any event from 10 to 1,000 people.
All event rooms are daylight illuminated and fully air-conditioned. In addition, modern technology and equipment including flipcharts and beamers as well as powerful internet ensure an effective event.
You will also find a stage for your presentations in the ballroom. For additional technical equipment, we can fall back on a professional partner network with good conditions.

The in-house catering team will be happy to provide the appropriate catering for your business meetings according to your taste. The catering at the Freischütz is also provided by Schürmann´s Forest Restaurant, Schürmann´s Forest Canteen and the Bavarian Spade Garden.
If you would like to combine your event with a sporty outdoor activity, then let off steam in the climbing forest next door. The proximity to nature offers numerous possibilities for a supporting programme in the fresh air.
