In order to achieve its current appearance and interior design, a meticulous and skillful renovation was necessary for both preserving the building´s ancient architectural features, while at the same time enabling it to be a state of the art hotel.

Our rooms are well-appointed featuring refined furnishings and equipped with all modern comforts. Some of our rooms are framed by historical architectural elements dating back to the XVII century, and evoke a charming and unique atmosphere. The bathrooms have either a bathtub or a shower.

The indoor spaces of the “Al Palatino“ Garden Restaurant, with its magnificently conserved brick groin vaults and unique architectural elements, reflect our efforts to achieve a perfect blend between past and present and thus creating an enchanting environment and a timeless atmosphere.

Although framed by a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, in our restaurant the food remains the main focus of attention. A place to taste the best delicacies and enjoy gourmet meals, all your senses are meant to be excited and spoiled, in order to achieve an unforgettable tasting experience.

Rome is gorgeous, but also rather busy and loud. There is no better way to get away from all the fuzz and unwind a little than in our private garden, a lush open-air oasis brimming with flowering trees, centuries-old olive and citrus trees, as well as a beautiful pond.

Biblioteca Kolbe
Our main meeting room is an impressive venue for the most exclusive events. This one-of-a-kind meeting room used to be the monastery´s library and it still contains a historic book selection and display cabinets that describe the life of Father Kolbe. A large 136 sqm space with 7 m high groin vaulted ceilings, the Biblioteca Kolbe can seat up to 150 people and is perfect for conventions, company meetings, press release, etc.

Sala Colosseo
This meeting room provides spacious and bright space with maximum privacy.
Located on the ground floor and facing directly onto the hotel´s enchanting inner garden, this large 77 sqm room has an original 17th Century brick vaulted ceiling, and is suitable for new product presentations, lunch, dinner meeting, etc.

Garden View
The Garden View area provides seven evocative meeting rooms in a peaceful surrounding.
Overlooking over the relaxing inner garden these gorgeous rooms represent unique meeting spaces with a functional, private atmosphere ideal for mid-sized meetings.

Palatino View
The Palatino View area provides seven stunning venues for mid-sized meetings. Boasting a characteristic brick arch from the original monastic architecture, as well as a stunning view over the Palatine hill, these spaces are perfect for mid-sized meetings, training courses or top management board meetings.

Arriving by Car

Take the highway Fiumicino-Rome and continue as far as Via Cristoforo Colombo (14 km). Continue on Via Cristoforo Colmbo following signs to the city centre (3 km). Once past the Mura Aureliane, turn left onto Via Guido Baccelli and continue on Via dei Cerchi alongside the Circus Maximus (3 km).

Arriving by Train

From Termini Station
From Termini Central Station, take the subway Metro B (direction: Laurentina) to “Circo Massimo“ (3 Stops). Walk 600 mt along the Circus Maximus and at the end of it, turn right. Walk 200 mt, you will find the Kolbe Hotel on the left hand side.

From FIUMICINO Airport (FCO)
Take the direct “Leonardo Express“ rail link to the central train station Rome Termini departing every 30 min. Follow the further instructions above.

From CIAMPINO Airport (CIA)
Take the train “FR4“ directly from the airport to the central station Rome Termini (2 Stops). Follow the further instructions above.
