Nescio Hotel Groningen is a friendly and at the same time functional hotel, eminently suitable to use as a base in your discovery of the north of the Netherlands and the Wadden. The lively University town of Groningen is only a 5 min drive away. Close to highway A28 in Haren, ideal location to discover the northern parts of the Netherlands.

We have 97 comfortable rooms. Breakfast is served as an extensive buffet. The restaurant offers opportunities for a quick lunch or an extensive dinner. There are separate groupfacilities available. For your meetings, courses and festive occasions we have 8 meetingrooms up to 350 persons. Also exhibition space available. By Public Transportation:
From Groningen CS you can take a taxi or one of the following busses in the direction of Haren : 51 (Assen), 54 (Oosterhaar) or 59 (Emmen).
Busstops:
Stop nearby the Rabobank (Rijksstraatweg Haren). You will take the road to Eelde-Paterswolde (follow the ANWB sign). Or.....
Stop on the Meerweg in Haren. Walk threw the Meerweg and the Nesciolaan in the direction of highway A28.
In both cases the walking distance is about 10 minutes.

By car or motorbike:
From Amersfoort/Zwolle A28 direction Groningen. Exit 38 Haren. Go to the right at the end of the exit.

From Groningen A28 direction Assen/Utrecht. Exit 38 Haren. Go to the left at the end of the exit, go underneath the highway and at roundabout go straight ahead. You will see our hotel on your left hand side.

From Amsterdam/Heerenveen A7 direction Groningen. At junction Julianaplein A7-A28 take the A28 direction Assen/Utrecht. Exit 38 Haren. Go to the left at the end of the exit, go underneath the highway and at roundabout go straight ahead. You will see our hotel on your left hand side.
