Welcome to the Van der Valk Hotel Hildesheim on the historical market square of Hildesheim. Behind its landmarked half-timbered und rococo façade, the 4-star hotel offers 110 individual rooms, the elegant Restaurant Gildehaus, the impressive Stadtschenke Bar and six versatile event rooms. The swimming pool, sauna, gym and Valentina´s Cosmetic Salon offer ample opportunity to kick back and relax.

Hildesheim is located close to Hannover and the Hannover Exhibition Grounds. The city is easy to reach by car on the A7 motorway or via the ICE high-speed train

Be sure to pay a visit to the 1000 year-old rose bush, the Cathedral and St. Michael´s Church, both of which are impressive UNESCO World Heritage sites, and the Roemer- and Pelizaeus Museum, which presents one of the most important collections of ancient Egyptian art and artefacts in Europe.

From the north - Via the A7 motorway
• exit at Hildesheim-Drispenstedt
• follow the main road, direction “Zentrum” (Centre)
• follow the Kennedydamm to the city centre
• turn to the right at the third traffic light into Bahnhofsallee
• then take the first left into Wallstrasse and follow the one-way street until you reach the Van der Valk Hotel Hildesheim

From the south - Via the A7 motorway
• exit at Hildesheim, follow the B1 to Hildesheim
• exit the roundabout on the opposite side (city centre)
• turn left at the second traffic light into Kennedydamm
