The City of Glasgow can be reached by car in approximately 20 minutes and Edinburgh in about 50 minutes. Carlisle can be reached in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Rail: Hamilton has two railway stations, Hamilton West and Hamilton Central, both with services operated by Scotrail, connecting Hamilton to the main rail network.
