BY CAR
From the North (from Gießen, Kassel, or Hanover):
Take the A5motorway and exit at the Frankfurt-West junction towards the Stadtmitte/Messe (city centre/trade fair centre), pass the main station until you reach the Baseler Platz. Once here, get in the
right-hand lane, drive around the square, and then turn into the Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße.
From the South (from Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, or Darmstadt):
Take the A5 motorway and exit at the Frankfurt-West junction. Now follow the above directions for “From the North”.
From the East (from Munich, Würzburg, or Aschaffenburg):
Take the A3 motorway and exit at the Frankfurt-Süd (south) exit towards theStadtmitte (city centre). Continue along the Kennedyallee to the Stresemannallee. Turn left and drive over the “Friedensbrücke” bridge, before taking the second exit to the
right for the hotel (sign“Stadtmitte/car park”).
From the West (from Cologne, Wiesbaden, or Mainz):
Take the A3 or A66 motorway and turn off at the Wiesbaden junction, driving on towards Frankfurt until you reach the Frankfurt
-West junction. Now follow the above directions for “From the North”.
If you are already in our neighborhood
Please note that Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße is a one-way street. When coming from the main station (“Hauptbahnhof”), drive around the “Baseler Platz” square before turning left into Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße. The entrance to the underground garage of the InterContinental Frankfurt is on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße.

The distance from the airport to the hotel is approximately 12 km. The ride takes about 20 minutes with a cost of circa €25.00.
By Public Transport
In the Frankfurt airport arrivals hall, follow the signs to the “S-Bahn”. There is a direct connection to Frankfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof) with line 8 and 9. The cost for a single ride ticket from the airport to the main station is currently at €4.65.

FROM THE AIRPORT OF FRANKFURT HAHN

The distance from the airport to the hotel is approximately 123 km. As the ride to Frankfurt takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is a fairly long distance, we do not recommend taking a taxi. The shuttle bus from the airport to Frankfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof) is a better option.
By Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus of the Bohr Omnibus GmbH commutes hourly between Frankfurt Hahn airport and Frankfurt main station. The bus station at the airport is located right in front of the terminal. The ride takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The bus stops at the south side of Frankfurt main station, from which you can easily reach the hotel within walking distance. The concierge team of the InterContinental
Frankfurt is more than happy to inform you about exact departure times. You will receive the tickets for the shuttle with the
bus driver. It is not possible to reserve seats.
A single ride for adults is €15.00.
For children up to 7 years the ticket costs €9.00.
FROM THE MAIN STATION TO THE INTERCONTINENTAL® FRANKFURT
By Taxi
If you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, we recommend taking a taxi. The distance from the main station to the hotel is about 1 km and takes about 5 minutes. The cost for the taxi is around €5.00.
By Public Transport
As the InterContinental Frankfurt is located so close to the main station, a connection for public transport doesn’t exist. You will be able to reach the hotel within 5 minutes walking from the main station (see below directions).
Walking
The InterContinental Frankfurt is located 5 minutes walking distance from the main station. Once you leave the main station through the main entrance, walk slightly right towards the “Wiesenhüttenstraße”,
where you will see the Continental Hotel at the corner. Enter the “Wiesenhüttenstraße” and walk straight towards the “Gutleutstraße”, which you will have to cross. After having crossed the “Gutleutstraße”, continue to walk straight to the next intersection. Turn left into the “Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße”. You will
see the InterContinental Frankfurt from there.
Should you have a lot of luggage, we recommend taking a taxi from the main station (see above description).
