Atrium-Room: The hotel is a piazza of life. The atrium rooms, between 25m² and 30m² in size, are your balcony/lounge.
Looking out to the great hall through the main window, you enjoy a wonderful view of the light-flooded lobby with its unique industrial architecture and the hustle and bustle of guests. Sound-proofed windows ensure that you can observe in silence, without being disturbed.

Loft: You don’t have to travel to New York to enjoy an urban loft atmosphere at its finest. Individual floor plans, lots of space and light, distinctive brick accents and furniture as well as fabrics perfectly matched to each room temporarily transform the Gastwerk’s lofts into your chic-casual city apartment.

Junior Suite: It’s not just the size of our one-room junior suites that convince: the homely design, in warm browns and sandy hues, and the exclusive furniture are further evidence of the obvious yet unpretentious format. And guests that spend a few nights here can also be a little bigger, because these rooms have extra long double beds.

Creative new ideas won’t be conceived in cramped, dark conference rooms. Note that you’d find any in the Gastwerk. The four hundred square meter conference area – the ´´denk.mal´´ – is flooded with daylight and offers an atmosphere where you can excellently work and convene.
This is surely due to the loft-ambience: high windows, wooden floors, scarce and noble interior, framed with rustic masonry. But it is also due to the modern equipment. All conference rooms are furnished with large screens, videobeamer, ISDN-connection and latest moderation and presentation technologies. All rooms have daylight and air-conditioning.

We charge € 78,00 per person/day for our
business package Medium.
It includes:
1. Free use of conference rooms
2. Standard conference equipment
(Paper and pen for each participant, flipchart,
pin board, screen and overhead projector).
3. Unlimited soft drinks 0,2l in the conference
room
4. Business lunch including mineral water ²)
5. Two coffee breaks at our Coffee Bar. ³)

²) Business lunch is served, depending on the state of booking, as a buffet at the “Wintergarten” or “Denk.mal Halle” or as a 3-course-menu at our Restaurant Mangold. The exclusive right of this decision is up to the hotel only.
³) During your morning break we offer you freshly-squeezed juices, as well as a variety of coffee and tea specialties. In addition we serve a daily selection of fresh fruit, soft curd and little substantial snack pieces.
For your afternoon break we offer a variety of coffee and tea specialties with changing sweet snacks.

Situated:
Only six kilometers from the city of Hamburg, the hotel is situated in the "Forum Altes Gaswerk - Forum Old Gas Works" – a preserved quarter with apartments, commerce, a large park, a lake and a fitness center.
By car:
Take the A7 until you reach the exit Bahrenfeld. Head for the centre along the Osdorfer Weg, which changes into the Von-Sauer-Straße and then into the Bahrenfelder Chaussee. Please turn right into the Bahrenfelder Steindamm and then right again into Beim Gaswerk.
Public transportation:
From Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel airport (HAM):
Take the S1 to Hamburg Wedel or Hamburg Blankenese and get off at the "Bahrenfeld" station. Walk from the train station Bahrenfeld (approx. 8 minutes): From the platform, take the exit towards Hegarstrasse. Leave the station with the exit on your right side and walk for about 100m along the Hegarstrasse. Then turn left into the Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg and after 200 m turn right into the Gasstrasse. After about 350 m, you will turn left into the "Bahrenpark" (Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg flags visible) and you will find the Gastwerk Hotel after 200 m on the right side.
From the Central Station:
Also take the S1, see above. Alternatively, take the S11, S21 or S31 towards Hamburg Altona station to "Holstenstraße"; from here take the bus line 3 in the direction “Trabrennbahn Bahrenfeld” or “Schenefelder Platz”, getting off at the stop "Bornkampsweg". Here, cross the Bahrenfelder Chaussee in the direction of Bahrenfelder Steindamm, past the "Laufladen Lunge". The Gastwerk’s Hotel flags will show you the way into the street "Beim Alten Gaswerk".
From Hamburg Altona station:
Take the bus route 2 towards Schenefelder Platz or Schenefeld / Achterndiek to the stop "Bornkampsweg". Here, cross the Bahrenfelder Chaussee in the direction of Bahrenfelder Steindamm, past the "Laufladen Lunge". The Gastwerk’s Hotel flags will show you the way into the street "Beim Alten Gaswerk".
