In addition, all rooms are fully-air conditioned and come with broadband internet access, multi-line telephone with voice mail, cable television with international channels, minibar, digital safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clock radio, laundry and 24-hour room service. Broadband internet access is available in all Deluxe Rooms and Suites. Non-smoking rooms are available.

The 143 Standard Rooms are located on the lower floors of the hotel and the 68 Deluxe, 62 Super Deluxe Rooms and 4 spacious, Two-Room Suites are on the higher floors. The top floor of the hotel is the Othon Business Floor which features 7 Superior Rooms and 3 Suites.

Guests staying in these rooms and suites and enjoy exclusive privileges such as VIP check-in, late check-out, and an executive lounge offering complimentary breakfast and happy hour cocktails as well as secretarial and business services. Buffet breakfast is included in all room rates.

Food & Beverages

Two restaurants, two bars and 24-hour room service offer a wide range of flavours to tempt any palate. Tacha de Ouro, on the third floor, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and can seat up to 160 people. Using locally-sourced Brazilian ingredients the chef has created a diverse menu of Brazilian and international cuisine. Bar do Ponto, an intimate Cachaça and Cigar Bar, is a great place to enjoy a Caipirinha before or after dinner.

Located on the 25th floor, the Varandão Bar and Restaurant offers breathtaking views of Belo Horizonte whilst you sample contemporary Brazilian cuisine and international dishes accompanied by live music. Varandão is open from 11.00 to 23.00 every day except Monday. On Saturdays, you can enjoy a lively brunch including the typical Brazilian dish ‘feijoada’ whilst you are entertained by live samba music. Room Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Belo Horizonte Othon Palace features a modern Convention Center with 15 meeting rooms accommodating up to 500 people. On the third floor of the hotel there are three meeting rooms and a foyer area as well as an outdoor area ideal for cocktail receptions. On the fifth floor, eight meeting rooms vary in size from small meeting rooms for 12 people to larger rooms for up to 90 people.

Situated on the top floor of the hotel, and boasting impressive views of the city and the hills beyond, two meeting rooms each accommodate up to 90 people. On the Mezzanine above the lobby, four smaller meeting rooms are ideal for board meetings or break out groups. The dedicated Business Center is on-hand to assist meeting organizers with all their administrative needs.
