Far away from hectic and noise and still connected to two Autobahnen you will find our Privathotel-Rothstein which was founded in 1932 as "Posthalterei". Whether you are our guest for the first time or already – as many of our regular guests - appreciate our house: Enjoy the uncommon mixture of romance and modern comfort.

Just 45 minutes from Cologne, at the A4 you will find the Privathotel Rothstein, embedded in a 4 ha size hotelpark with wonderful ponds and wells, at the outside of Gummersbach.

Our hotelstory carries on for about 170 years now and we are proud of the historical variety of our permises 97 comfort rooms, 10 individually created conference – and banquet rooms for 4 up to 400 people, just as six restaurant areas furnished with items from different epochs will provide our guests with a very special conference – and seminar experience.
